Davey Engineering offers a full range of sustainable design and construction services including:
Commissioning: Davey Engineering's Commissioning team has acted as a commissioning agent on several LEED® registered projects in New England including the Marriott Portwalk in Portsmouth, NH and the Marriott Courtyard in Keene, NH. Davey Engineering’s Commissioning staff will work with the construction team and building owners to ensure that the building’s HVAC, lighting, and electrical systems are operating as efficiently as possible while meeting the needs of the owner.
Energy Modeling: Davey Engineering helps clients to see the life cycle costs of their mechanical designs by offering energy modeling services. During pre-construction Davey Engineering will perform energy modeling on multiple building HVAC, lighting, and envelope systems to ensure that the optimal system is selected for the project.
Sustainable Design: Davey Engineering offers clients full service sustainable design. Our past projects have included geo-thermal heating and cooling, photovoltaic power options, and energy recovery systems. We pride ourselves in working with our clients to ensure the optimal systems are selected for the projects with careful consideration of the construction budget and lifecycle cost.
LEED® Consulting: Davey Engineering's staff includes LEED® AP’s who will work with building owners to ensure that their new or existing buildings are designed, constructed, and operating per LEED requirements.
Energy Auditing: Davey Engineering will offer energy auditing services to “troubleshoot” problems and identify cost effective methods to improve the operations of existing buildings. We will work with utility companies to help identify and obtain rebates when applicable. Our energy auditing services include system check ups and analysis, building controls review, testing and balancing, thermal image detection and blower door testing.
